The blessings of the forest lord Cenarius have made Malfurion Stormrage the epitome of what it means to be a druid.
Under the guidance of Cenarius – the demigod of nature and patron of druids – the venerable Malfurion Stormrage has protected the night elves from demonic invaders for millennia. During the War of the Ancients, Malfurion was among those who defended all life on Azeroth from the terrible Burning Legion, along with his future lover Tyrande Whisperwind and his brother Illidan. After their victory against the demons, Malfurion saw to it that the night elves left the Legion’s ravages behind, settling in a new home near Mount Hyjal and overseeing the growth of the World Tree, Nordrassil. The Aspect of Dreams, Ysera, linked Nordrassil to the Emerald Dream—a representation of Azeroth without war and interference from sentient beings—allowing all druids, including Malfurion, access to the realm. Malfurion and others explored the Dream for centuries.
Malfurion was awakened by Tyrande to aid the resistance against the Legion once more during the Third War; upon returning to his slumber, he battled his nemesis, the satyr Xavius, who was attempting to corrupt the Emerald Dream from inside. When Deathwing broke the world and stirred the rage of elementals during the Cataclysm, Malfurion left the night elven capital of Darnassus, and gathered his fellow druids to save Azeroth once more, creating a task force to stop the invasion led by the vicious firelord Ragnaros. With the Destroyer’s demise, a finally wakeful Malfurion rejoined Tyrande to support the efforts of the Alliance.
Malfurion was originally introduced in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos.

|Vengeful Roots (E)||Using Entangling Roots also summons a Treant that deals 28 damage and lasts for 12 seconds.|
|Shan'do's Clarity (Trait)||Innervate's Cooldown is 10 seconds faster and grants mana twice as fast.|
|Versatile (Trait)||Innervate also increases the target's attack speed by 10% for its duration. This also allows you to cast it on non-mana users.|
|Shield Ally||Places a protective shield on an allied Hero, protecting them from 330 damage before breaking. Lasts for 5 seconds.|
|Battle Momentum||Basic Attacks reduce your Ability cooldowns by 0.5 seconds.|
|Enduring Growth (Q)||Increases the duration of Regrowth by 6 seconds.|
|Elune's Grace||Increases the range of Regrowth, Moonfire, and Entangling Roots by 2.|
|Calldown: MULE||Repairs the target structures, granting it health and ammo over 30 seconds.|
|Tranquility (R)||Heals 49 health per second to nearby allies over 10 seconds.

|Twilight Dream (R)||After a short delay, deals 136 damage in a large AOE. Targets are silenced for 3 seconds.

|Full Moonfire (W)||Increases area of effect by 50% and reduces mana cost to 10.|
|Life Seed (Q)||Casting Regrowth on a target with full health will delay the healing over time effect until they have taken damage.|
|Shrink Ray||Activate to reduce an enemy Hero's damage by 50% and Movement Speed by 50% for 4 seconds.|
|Ice Block||Activate to place yourself in stasis and gain invulnerability for 3 seconds.|
|Lunar Shower (W)||Using Moonfire reduces the cooldown of your next Moonfire by 0.5 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times. Lasts for 8 seconds.|
|Hindering Moonfire (W)||Moonfire slows targets by 20% for 2 seconds.|
|Rewind||Activate to reduce the cooldown of your Basic Abilities by 10 seconds.|
|Bolt of the Storm||Activate to teleport to the target location.|
|Storm Shield||Activate to give you and nearby allied Heroes a Shield for 20% of their max health for 3 seconds.|
|Serenity (R)||Increases the healing amount by 25% and grants 5 mana per second.|
|Nightmare (R)||Afflicted enemies are also slowed by 50% and the duration is increased to 4 seconds.|

Basic Hero Quests
Basic Hero Quests are unique to each Hero. Usually they are focused on using a spell/ability “X” amount of times against any enemy Hero; and the last one asks you to play 10 games with your Hero.
Epic Hero Quests
The Epic Hero Quests are not available until you reach level 10, and until your Hero has completed the 3 Basic Hero Quests. These are not unique for each hero. All Heroes must complete the same Epic Hero Quests.
