Blizzard Entertainment revealed four new Heroes at PAX East 2014, and within four days made Li Li Stormstout available to play in Heroes of the Storm Technical Alpha on April 15th.

Li Li Stormstout is an easy-to-learn support Hero who can heal her allies, and push and blind enemies with the force of a wind gust.

Born upon Shen-zin Su, the Wandering Isle, Li Li Stormstout led a somewhat uneventful life until she began reading the journals of her uncle Chen. Soon, nothing would sate her desire for adventure, exploration, and pestering adventurers around Halfhill.

Role: Ranged Support

Difficulty: Easy

Li Li Stormstout was introduced into the Warcraft universe through a graphic novel published by DC Comics, titled World of Warcraft: Pearl of Pandaria. Her story was written by Blizzard publishing lead and New York Times best selling author Micky Neilson, and illustrated by Sean Galloway.

The graphic novel is also available as a digital download for various mobile devices and for the Windows PC.

Shortly after, Li Li Stormstout was introduced along with Chen Stormstout as an NPC in World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria closed beta. She is found originally on the eastern side of the Valley of the Four Winds. There they accompany the player in a long-journey throughout the Valley of the Four Winds, stopping at different locations and providing quests in each hub. The adventure ends at the Stormstout Brewery dungeon.

Li Li Stormstout and her uncle Chen are later seen by the player in the Dread Wastes where we find out the fate of some of their new-found family members.

The official World of Warcraft website also published a prelude to the Mists of Pandaria MMO expansion titled Destination: Pandaria. It features the adventures of Li Li Stormstout as she traveled the world and ultimately reached Pandaria.

"Hi, there!"

"Uh, got something to say?"

"My uncle takes me to the weirdest places."

"I don't even know where we are right now."

"So, have you ever been to Thunder Bluff?"

"The tauren built an entire city on top of a mesa using tents."

"You know? I wonder ... where do they go ... you know."

"So, be careful not to drink too much healing brew. It can make you stupid. And fat. Oh, and lazy."

"You know the best part about exploring the Nexus? It's I get to see a new world every twenty minutes or so."

"So, I was born in the back of a giant turtle that like moves around the ocean. But ... what if the ocean was just like this back of a bigger turtle? And ... Oh my gosh! What if its like turtles all the way down?"

"Ugh, (sighs) ... this ... is bohhhring. Let's go do something."

"Alright, does anyone else wonder where these weird little minion guys are coming from? I mean ... they don't even talk either."

"Hello?! Hi!"

"So, do you just go around poking everyone you meet? Cuz, that's like super-weird."

"(Sighs) you make me a saaaad panda."

"umm. ah. hey! Shouldn't we be fighting? I mean, it's fun talking and all but ... I think our teammates are waiting on us. You know?"

"You know? Did you ever think about getting old, and exploring a little? You know? There's a whole world out there."
