Thrall Talents and Abilities
As a child, Thrall served the cruel Aedelas Blackmoore as a slave. After gaining his freedom, he guided the liberated orcs to a land of their own, and worked to recover their ancient traditions. Now and forever he is the Warchief of the Horde.
The former slave known as Thrall brought unity to the Horde, turning ravagers into architects and securing a future for his people.
“Thrall” was the moniker bestowed on the young orc Go’el in his first home — an internment camp created to keep the orc prisoners of the Second War from ever threatening Azeroth again — and the name could not be less fitting.
When Go’el escaped his prison, he traveled in search of not just aimless freedom but his roots, eventually finding wisdom in the shamanic beliefs of his ancestors.
Thrall’s shamanism guided his actions as he re-formed the Horde, becoming its warchief and leading his people to settle in an arid land that he called Durotar, in honor of his father, Durotan.
Thrall led the Horde through a seemingly unceasing series of trials: the lifting of the demonic blood-curse that had tainted the orcs, a Burning Legion attack on Mount Hyjal, and the fall of the dreaded Lich King. When Deathwing returned and shattered the world, Thrall stepped down from his role as the Horde’s warchief, instead joining the Earthen Ring, a powerful shamanic group, in an attempt to put the elements to rest and stop the Destroyer.
Thrall chose Garrosh Hellscream as his successor, and that decision haunted him as the ruthlessness of the new warchief brought the Horde to the point of insurrection. Garrosh’s defeat, the birth of Thrall’s son, and the emergence of a new warchief seem to have had a rejuvenating effect. Whole once more, Thrall now readies himself to combat a truly personal threat to all Azeroth, as a savage reflection of his people roars forth from a universe beyond.

|Chain Lightning||Blast 3 enemies with lightning. Mana: 35. Cooldown: 6 seconds.|
|Feral Spirit||Releases a fiery wolf spirit to burn enemies and root Heroes. Mana: 60. Cooldown: 12 seconds.|
|Windfury||Increases attack and movement speed. Mana: 50. Cooldown: 12 seconds.|
|Frostwolf Resilience (Trait)||Casting abilities on enemies grant charges that heal you.|
Block Periodically reduces the damage received from Hero Basic Attacks by 50%. Stores up to 2 charges. Rolling Thunder Increases Chain Lightning's range by 30% and attacking enemies recently hit by Chain Lightning restores 10 Mana. Rabid Wolves Damaging Heroes with Feral Spirit grants 3 stacks of Frostwolf Resilience. Seasoned Marksman For every 6 enemy Minion or Mercenary kills near your Hero, gain 1 Basic Attack damage. Hero Takedowns count as 2 Minion kills. Ride the Lightning Chain Lightning can hit 2 additional enemies for 50% damage. Spirit Journey Feral Spirit travels 50% farther. Mana Tide Frostwolf Resilience also restores 20 Mana Envenom Activate to poison an enemy Hero, dealing 245 damage over 6 seconds. Cooldown: 60 seconds. Stone Wolves Increases the duration of Feral Spirit's root from 1 second to 1.5 seconds. Wind Shear Reduces the cooldown of Windfury by 3 seconds. Follow Through After using an ability, your next Basic Attack deals 25% additional damage. Frostwolf's Grace (Trait) Frostwolf Resilience can be activated to immediately heal Thrall. Cooldown: 30 seconds. Sundering After a short delay, sunder the earth in a long line. Deals 182 damage and shoves enemies to the side, stunning them for 1.5 seconds. Earthquake Summon a massive Earthquake that periodically slows enemies in the area by 70%. Lasts for 10 seconds. Restless Wolves If Feral Spirit hits an enemy Hero, its cooldown is reduced by 50%. Grace of Air Windfury attacks grant twice as many stacks of Frostwolf Resilience. Giant Killer Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes deal bonus damage equal to 1.5% of the Hero's max Health. Spell Shield Upon taking Ability Damage, reduce that damage and further Ability Damage by 50% for 2 seconds. Can only trigger once every 30 seconds. Forked Lightning Allows Chain Lightning to hold 2 charges that can be used in quick succession. Tempest Fury The final strike of Windfury hits 3 times for 75% normal damage. Ride the Wind Increases Windfury's Movement Speed bonus from 25% to 35%. Windfury attacks increase the Movement Speed duration by 1 second. Blood for Blood Activate to steal 15% of target enemy's Max Health and slow its Movement Speed by 30% for 3 seconds. Cooldown: 60 seconds. Worldbreaker Sundering travels indefinitely. Earthen Shields You and your allies within the Earthquake area gain a Shield equal to 15% of max Health each pulse. This shield lasts 4 seconds. Bolt of the Storm Activate to teleport to a nearby location. Cooldown: 40 seconds.
